What Do I Need To Bring To My Tax Appointment?

 

 - All of your W-2s from work (all copies)

 - All 1099’s and 1098’s from banks, credit unions and brokerage companies

 - All K-1s from investments in businesses

 - If you have bought or sold (or both) a home or property this year, bring all closing statements

 - Bring a summary total of charitable contributions - cash and non-cash

 - Bring the amount paid for real estate tax

 - Bring a summary of any job related expenses

 - Bring a summary of your medical expenses

 

How Long Does The Interview Take?

 

If you bring the items listed above, and are well organized, your interview will take no more than 45 minutes. One hour is allocated for every client interview.

 

What Can I Expect To Pay For Tax Services?

What Can I Do To Be Better Prepared?
 

 - Do come prepared and well-organized, with your information summarized.

 - Do arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment.

 - Do plan on being treated professionally, courteously and promptly.

 - Do skip the office interview process by dropping off, e-mailing, faxing or mailing in your tax information,

   and having an interview by phone.

 - Do ask questions about retirement, college savings, and estate planning or investment activities.

 - Don’t come to the interview without advance preparation and summaries.
